Just a comment about the same JVM test case. Some of you have perhaps already noticed this trick. In order to make run the example in the same JVM:
1. first start an Eclipse runtime instance 
2. Import the org.eclipse.e4.wazaabi.swtbridge.demo.contacts project (and only this one) on the workspace of the runtime instance
3. Open the MApplication and launch the demo as it is described in the blog
